A number of clinics for children have opened in the UK following the example set by Tom Bowen himself. These clinics are either free or charge a nominal fee and are open to any child under 12/14.
The Children's Bowen Clinic, Inverurie
The Children's Bowen Clinic, Inverurie opened its doors on 9th May 2009. Initially appointments were given to a few children only from St Andrew's School, Inverurie. A number of the Practitioners working at the clinic have completed a course on Fascia Bowen with Howard Plummer which has been shown to alleviate some of the symptoms associated with Aspergers, Cerebral Palsy and Autism. Appointments are now open to any child under 14 years of age who is in need of treatment.
Children may come for help with any problem, eg migraine, asthma, if they have had a fall or a sprain, bed wetting, baby colic or reflux, if baby has had a difficult birth and is not settling etc. Children who have Cerebral Palsy, Aspergers, Dyspraxia, Autism etc are also very welcome at the Clinic.
The Clinic runs every second Saturday during the school term only. Treatment will be free although we would like to suggest a donation of £5 to cover admin costs (although these will be kept to a minimum).
